This is a Myrtle wood Heart wall art is the perfect Birthday gift present. What an amazing gift present for any occasion!! I am Gary Burns the treewiz or Wiz. I can Personalize it on the back. If it is simple like a short sentence and date there is no extra charge. I do this by hand with a Dremel. It comes ready to hang on the wall. There is some beetle larva areas on the right side. I filled treated all of these areas. There are 8 photos of this heart and a few extras of me in my shop and my gallery, The Tree Wizard Gallery in Port Orford, Oregon. It measures 15" tall x 14 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" thick. This piece had a lot of beetle larva action. I treated the wood and filled the voids on the front. It adds an interesting character to the piece. I carved this heart out of a piece of Myrtlewood Burl that grows in my neck of the woods, in Southern Oregon. There is some interesting figuring and coloring in this piece. Myrtle is a very unique wood only growing in Oregon and around the Mediterranean. There are fun little Myrtle Wood Shops all over Western Oregon.
It is flat on the back so it hangs on the wall. I have attached a metal self leveling hanger on the back for hanging and I signed Wiz on the back as well.

Care instructions
All of my carvings have a lacquer finish. Dusting with a feather duster or blowing off with a compressor is all that is necessary on the carved trees, fish and carved faces. I use Orange oil on the smooth surfaces. This will perk them up. I would do it as often as you polish your furniture. Once a month would keep them looking great but is not necessary.
When will I get my purchased carving?
I will contact you as soon as I get your order. I will package it that day or the next. I take it to the Post Office the next morning. If I get an order on Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday it will be in Monday mornings mail.
How will my carving be shipped?
I use Priority United States postal service mail.
Do you ship outside of the US?
I do ship outside of the US. I need to know the carving that you are interested in and your complete shipping address. I will figure what it costs to ship to your address and make the changes to the listing so that you can make the purchase.
