This is a Myrtle wood Heart wall hanging is the perfect 50th Wedding Anniversary gift present. What an amazing gift present for any occasion!! I am Gary Burns the treewiz and I carved everything in my etsy shop. I can Personalize it on the back. If it is simple like a short sentence and date there is no extra charge. I do this by hand with a Dremel. It comes ready to hang on the wall. It really makes a loving statement!! I love the burl grain in this piece. I carved this heart out of a piece of Myrtle wood that grows in my neck of the woods, in Southern Oregon. There is some interesting figuring and coloring in this piece. I love how many looks that Myrtle wood has. Myrtle is a very unique wood only growing in Oregon and around the Mediterranean. There are fun little Myrtle Wood Shops all over Western Oregon. The wood has a wonderful, unique sort of spicy scent when working it. :)
Each heart that I carve is totally unique. I have no templets. Everything is done by hand. I try to flow with whatever the piece of wood is trying to leave as little waist as possible. I look for really unusually colored and unique grain patterns. I am so grateful to get to work the amazing pieces of wood that come my way.

It is flat on the back so it hangs on the wall. I have attached a metal self leveling hanger on the back for hanging and I signed Wiz on the back as well.

Care instructions
All of my carvings have a lacquer finish. Dusting with a feather duster or blowing off with a compressor is all that is necessary on the carved trees, fish and carved faces. I use Orange oil on the smooth surfaces. This will perk them up. I would do it as often as you polish your furniture. Once a month would keep them looking great but is not necessary.
When will I get my purchased carving?
I will contact you as soon as I get your order. I will package it that day or the next. I take it to the Post Office the next morning. If I get an order on Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday it will be in Monday mornings mail.
How will my carving be shipped?
I use Priority United States postal service mail.
Do you ship outside of the US?
I do ship outside of the US. I need to know the carving that you are interested in and your complete shipping address. I will figure what it costs to ship to your address and make the changes to the listing so that you can make the purchase.
